WHO ARE THE DAUGHTERS OF MEN?
Gen 4:25-26 And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew. And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the LORD.
Cain and his descendants were rebels; they rebelled against God, they did not obey Him, and they did not fear Him. Seth and his descendants were God fearing men; they obeyed God, they believed in Him, they trusted Him, they communicated with Him; they were sons of God.
Exod 4:21-22 And the LORD said unto Moses, When thou goest to return into Egypt, see that thou do all those wonders before Pharaoh, which I have put in thine hand: but I will harden his heart, that he shall not let the people go. And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD, Israel is my son, even my firstborn:
We see here that God refers to the nation of Israel as His firstborn son.
Deut 14:1-2 Ye are the children of the LORD your God: ye shall not cut yourselves, nor make any baldness between your eyes for the dead. For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.
God chose Israel to be His children, and He told them that they were His children, and they were chosen to be different from any other people on the earth.
Exod 34:14-16 For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God: Lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they go a whoring after their gods, and do sacrifice unto their gods, and one call thee, and thou eat of his sacrifice; And thou take of their daughters unto thy sons, and their daughters go a whoring after their gods, and make thy sons go a whoring after their gods.
God is jealous of His people and told them that they were not to worship any other god, that they were not to make any treaties that would allow the idol worshiping inhabitants of the promised land to remain in the land because they would corrupt them, and lead them into idol worship. Furthermore, they were not to take their pagan daughters to be married to their sons because they would eventually lead their sons into idol worship. This is precisely what happened before the flood when the sons of God, God fearing men, married the daughters of men, idol worshipers; and all the earth became corrupt.
Deut 7:2-6 And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them: Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son. For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly. But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire. For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.
God instructed His people to utterly destroy all the inhabitants of the promised land so that they would not corrupt them. He also instructed them to destroy all their images, their altars, their groves, and everything that was associated with their worship. He specifically instructed them to be sure not to give their sons and daughters to them in marriage because that would lead to idolatry. Furthermore, if they became corrupted by the people of the land, God would destroy them. This is what happened at the time of Noah when all the people, except for Noah and his family, became corrupt.
Rom 9:6-8 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel: Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.
All the physical descendants of Abraham are not children of God; only the descendants of Isaac and Jacob, whom God renamed Israel, are the true children of God.
2 Cor 6:14-18 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
True Christians cannot have fellowship with unbelievers because we have nothing in common. Christians love and worship God; whereas, unbelievers hate God and worship false gods. Also, as the saying goes, one bad apple will ruin the whole bushel. God says, if we will stay separate from unbelieving idol worshipers, we will be His sons and daughters.
James 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
The world hates God and the world is full of false religion; therefore, anyone who is a friend of the world; that is, anyone who joins the world, in their worship, is the enemy of God. We must remain separate, if we want to be sons and daughters of God.
John 15:18-21 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me.
The world, all those people who hate Jesus Christ, the one true God and Savior of the world; also, hate true Christians simply because we love Jesus and live for Him. They are like Cain who killed his brother Abel; furthermore, they are like those who crucified Jesus Christ.
I Jn 3:10-15 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous. Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you. We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.
The children of God love God, and they love all those who are born of God; that is, those who love God and believe in Jesus Christ. In contrast, the children of the evil one, the devil, hate all those who are children of God as did Cain who killed his brother Abel. Things have not changed, the unbelievers, those people who reject Jesus Christ, reject God, and hate all who believe in Jesus Christ.
John 8:41-47 Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God. Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me? He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.
Jesus said, “Ye are of your father the devil.” Those who are believers in Jesus Christ are of their Father, God, and those who do not believe in Jesus Christ are of their father, the devil. Therefore, we can see that people are classified by their faith as children of God, or by lack of faith as children of the devil. We are not all children of God; therefore, there is no such thing as universal salvation.
Gen 6:1-2 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.
The sons of God, the men who believed in God, began to marry the daughters of men whom they chose, the women who did not believe in God; as a result, the whole world became corrupt, and eventually there was only eight believers left upon the earth, Noah and his family.
Gen 6:4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. (KJV)
Gen 6:4 The Nephilim were in the earth in those days, and also after that, when the sons of God came unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them: the same were the mighty men that were of old, the men of renown. (ASV)
The word Nephilim is a word, found in some bible translations, that describes a giant who was a bully or tyrant. Many people have tried to form a whole new system of theology by saying this giant was created by a fallen angel who had sex with a human woman. Furthermore, they say God destroyed the earth with a flood in order to destroy these creatures who were part human and part fallen angel, also know as demons. This fiction is all based on the definition of this word Nephilim. If this was true, how could we be sure we are not also part demon. I thank God I am a man, made in God’s own image, and that the devil has no power over me. I Jn 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. (KJV) God is in me, not the devil or a demon. Praise God! Thank you God! Thank you Lord Jesus!
Ps 111:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever. Prov 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Anyone who does not fear God is a fool; he has no wisdom, knowledge, or understanding.
Gen 6:5-6 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
When the sons of God, the godly men, married the daughters of men, the ungodly women, the whole earth eventually became ungodly; as a result, everyone became corrupt, full of wickedness and evil continually. Therefore, God destroyed the earth with a flood, in order to purge the earth of the wickedness of men. God sent the worldwide flood in Noah’s day to destroy all the unbelievers upon the earth. Only Noah and his family, the godly believers, were saved. The flood destroyed everyone upon the earth possibly billions of people because of their rebellion against God, and God will again destroy those who rebel against Him in our generation.
2 Pet 2:4-7&9 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly; And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked: The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
God is a God justice; He has always judged the wicked and He will continue to judge the wicked. The wicked will not escape judgment, but those who believe in Jesus Christ will be delivered from judgment just as Noah and Lot were delivered.
2 Pet 3:7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
God will judge the unbelieving world once again, but next time the earth will be destroyed by fire instead of water. Billions of people will once again die for their wickedness, and there will be no way to escape, no bunker, no survival shelter, no lawyer to get them off; everyone who rejects Jesus Christ will be destroyed in hell, the lake of fire, for all eternity.
Rev 20:12-15 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
There will be no escaping the judgment and punishment God has in store for all those who reject Jesus Christ, our only Savior and Lord.
John 1:12-13 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
All who receive Jesus Christ by believing in Him for forgiveness of sin and eternal life become children of God when they believe. True believers are children of God in this age, and believers were children of God in Noah’s age.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Salvation, that is, forgiveness of sins and eternal life is available to everyone who will simply believe in Jesus Christ, and fully trust in Him and in Him only.
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
There is only one way to be saved from the judgement of God, and Jesus is the way.
Rom 8:14-18 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
All true believers in Jesus Christ are adopted by God; are made to be true Children of God and joint heirs with Christ; therefore, all that belongs to Christ belongs to each of us. Also, the world hated Jesus Christ and persecuted Him, and would still do the same today if He were here; therefore, the world hates us because we believe in Him and love Him, “we suffer with him”.
Rom 8:19-23 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
At the present time, all of creation is suffering corruption because of sin in this world; but the time is soon coming, when the Lord Jesus Christ will make all things new without corruption.
I Jn 3:1-2 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
God loved us so much that He has made us to be His sons, and someday we will be like Him; we will be holy as He is holy.
In Summation
Sons of God - are believers
Daughters of men - are unbelievers
Jews were forbidden - to marry unbelievers
Christians are forbidden - to marry unbelievers
Sons of God must not marry daughters of men.
Final Conclusion
Angels did not reproduce with humans
Humans - are made in the image of God and they only reproduce after their own kind.
Angels - are spiritual beings, and were created by God to be His ministering servants.
Angels - can appear as humans, but they are not human.
Angels - do not marry, do not reproduce, and were not created with the ability to do so; furthermore, they do not have power to create life; there is only one Creator, God Almighty.
There are no dog-cats, bird-fish, horse-cows, snake-lizards, or missing link of any kind in all of God’s creation. Every creature reproduces after its own kind and only if God has created it with the ability to reproduce. Therefore, I can say with all certainty that there are no humanangels, nor human-demons in God’s creation.
