JESUS CHRIST

LORD AND SAVIOR - ALMIGHTY GOD

CREATOR OF HEAVEN AND EARTH

Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

God was in the beginning before anything was created, God always was, God had no beginning. God created all things, everything comes from God.

Deut 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:

There is only one God, one Creator, one source of all things.

John 1:1-3&14 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

The Word of God was in the beginning before anything was created. The Word of God always was, the Word of God had no beginning. In the beginning the Word of God was God. The Word of God created all things that ever existed and nothing has ever existed apart from the Word of God. The Word of God became flesh, He became a human, He became one of us and lived with us. He revealed the glory of God to us, He made God known to us. Jesus Christ is the Word of God. Jesus Christ is God and always was God, the Creator of all things. Jesus Christ is the one and only Almighty God.

Heb 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

The one and only way to please God is to believe in Him, to believe He is and always was, to believe He is the creator of all things, to believe He became a man to make Himself known to us. If we believe He is and seek to know Him, He will reward us by making Himself known to us through Jesus Christ, the Word of God.

Heb 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

By faith we understand how all things came into existance. God spoke everything into existence, He made all things from pure energy, His energy. God said let there be and it was just as God said, He created all things by his power.

Col 1:15-17 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

We cannot see God but when we see Jesus Christ we see God, because Jesus Christ is the image of God. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came to reveal God to us. Being called the first-born of all creation could not mean that He was the first to be created because He Himself is the creator of all things. The first-born of all creation conveys the idea that He has the birthright to all creation, the idea that He is the head of all creation. All creation is subject to Him, He is the ruler of all creation, because He was before all creation and all creation comes from Him. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, not only created all things by His power but He also holds all things together by His power. Jesus Christ is God Almighty.

John 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

Jesus Christ, the only begotten God, who is now with His father came to us, to make God known to us. To know Jesus Christ is to know God.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Because God loved us, He sent His Son, Jesus Christ to die for us, so that we could know Him; and, so that we could be saved, and have eternal life, by believing in Him.

Acts 10:43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.

To believe in the name of Jesus Christ means to believe in all that the bible says about Him. Furthermore, all the prophets of God tell us that all those who believe in the name of Jesus Christ have forgiveness of sins.

Rev 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

The purpose of true prophecy from God is to testify to us about Jesus Christ. The reason God gave us the scriptures was that we might come to know Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.

John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

As far as God is concerned, everyone who believes in His Son, Jesus Christ, is not judged, is not guilty of sin, because Jesus Christ has taken our judgement upon Himself, He has taken our sins upon Himself. As far as God is concerned everyone who does not believe in Jesus Christ has been judged already, he is guilty of sin before God, because he does not believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Therefore, the only way to be made right with God is to believe in Jesus Christ.

John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

Throughout the gospel of John we find Jesus Christ saying that eternal life is available through believing in Him, and only through believing in Him. In this verse we see that to believe is to obey. God’s command to us is to believe in His Son, Jesus Christ. God is angry with everyone who does not believe in Jesus Christ because He gave His one and only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die for the forgiveness of our sins. Those who reject Jesus Christ insult God. No one can insult God and get away with it.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Jesus Christ said that He is the way to God, because there is no other way. Jesus said that He is the truth, because He is the one and only true God. Jesus said that He is the life, because He is the Creator of all life and the source of eternal life. Jesus said that no one comes to God except through Him, because He is the only begotten Son of God that takes away the sins of the world.

John 14:7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

Jesus Christ said that to know Him is the same thing as knowing God. If we know Jesus Christ we know God and if we don’t know Jesus Christ we do not know God. Anyone who claims to believe in God and does not believe in Jesus Christ does not know God.

John 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

Only those who truly know God have eternal life, because eternal life is life with God. Only those who know Jesus Christ truly know God, because Jesus Christ is God. No one can have eternal life unless they know God and no one can know God unless they know Jesus Christ.

John 20:29-31 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

We are bless by God if we believe in Jesus Christ even though we have never seen Him. All that has been written in the Scriptures about Jesus Christ has been written so that we would believe in Him, even though we have not seen Him. All that has been written was written so that we would believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that He is the Christ, the Messiah. God rewards our faith in Jesus Christ by forgiving our sins and giving us eternal life.

Thus says the LORD, “Let not a wise man boast of his wisdom, and let not the mighty man boast of his might, let not a rich man boast of his riches; but let him who boasts boast of this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the LORD who exercises lovingkindness, justice, and righteousness on earth; for I delight in these things,” declares the LORD.
